I'm so pleased with you all
Not bad, you guys!! Everyone has turned in their portfolios, and it isn't even fifteen till 2. Good for you. I think this may be the first time I've taught a writing class when ALL portfolios came in on time!

I'll post here again when I'm done with grading, which hopefully won't be too long. At that point, I'll make some sort of mildly mushy end of term post and say thanks and so forth. Until then, though, I have to be vicious. Time enough for mush when all is said and done. :)

I'm now going to pack up and head out. Emails will still reach me, of course!

so on my way rushing to a final i guess i turned in the unedited verson of my final reflection... and being as gave ya everything before 1 o'clock and it is now only 2:21 (directly after my exam), I'm gonna ask if you can please throw that final reflection away and read the one i post on my personal so i don't sound like the dumbass i am (i wrote wrote the wrong poet's name and quoted the poem incorrectly and write I for "is" in teh very last sentence.. the online one is better i promose, (but not perfect)........... if not, whatever, it probably won't make a difference, but i just wanted to at least give the correct poet that's all.

OK, I can do that. It seems in keeping somehow, since you took a pretty big risk already by including essays you keep calling unfinished. I'd say they ARE unfinished, but I can't quarrel with that...after all, ideas are works in progress. I kind of wish for a more polished unfinished, but there is a certain balance here that I really like. :) I'll take the LJ version of the final reflection essay and add it to the rest.

So far, these portfolios are great. I mean, I think everything could use more editing (life, global politics, essays, religion) but in general, these are darned good.

I can't seem to keep myself away from Livejournal....
not even at 3 a.m. when I should be studying.

Wow. That says a lot.

it says you're an addict. Just like me--grading one portfolio, checking LJ. Grade another portfolio, check LJ. It's like crack. it is.
